Whoo-hoo!

Okay, it’s a small “whoo-hoo!”, but still.

HANGING BY A THREAD is, for the first time, listed as the #2 bestselling Red Dress Ink book at Amazon. Have no idea what, if anything, this means in the Land of Real Numbers, but I’ll take it. Especially since the book had been out nearly a year, and Amazon numbers are skewed toward recent sales, not overall.

Is somebody talking about the book somewhere that I don’t know about???

The day after

Tickets to WALLACE AND GROMIT for five 10 year-olds and two grandparent-aged adults: $39

Dinner for seven at a local pizza restaurant: $38

Cake and ice cream: $17.50

Balloons: $3

The deep, profound silence left after the last one went home: Priceless

Really, I’d forgotten how loud ten kids in a confined space can be. The minute it was all over, I literally passed out on our bed, awakened only when the boycat meowed in my face to make sure I was still alive. Although it was all worth it to hear, “This was the best birthday ever” from the party boy himself.

I should think so, considering it lasted for 27 hours.
