RTB column up
My musings about small-town stories are out there for God and everybody to see over at Romancing the Blog, which means I really should have a nice, new fresh column up over here, right?
Except we’re having company for dinner tonight (nothing huge, just hubby’s mom and sister visiting from Alaska), so by the time I cleaned the pertinent parts of the house and put on the pot roast and finally got the fall wreath up on the door and scraped nine months’ worth of melted candle wax off the candleholders, I have maybe two hours left to actually work on the book. So this is it, I’m afraid.
And lest you think I’ve done all the work, my other half is peeling potatoes (which I hate almost as much as de-waxing candlesticks), washing the kitchen floor and vacuuming the living room. He’s good that way.
